Hey there, I’m Meg!
I’ve always been very passionate about nutrition and fitness, but never felt like I was truly achieving my goals. Why did I feel like I was running in circles doing everything I thought possible to feel better and still felt … blah.
Here’s my story…
When I was in my early twenties I started ultrasound school in a fun college town! Although I was under a bit of stress I was living it up meeting new people, exploring what the town had to offer, working out daily, eating nutritious meals and having fun! The stomach aches, skin issues, bloating, and fatigue to name a few started slowly and soon took over the fun, energetic Meg I once was. I ended up in multiple doctors’ offices and took multiple tests, just for them to come back “normal”. How could everything be “normal” when I was feeling so horrible?
So …
I decided to take a different approach to my health with functional nutrition that focused on the root cause of my symptoms. I knew there had to be a true reason for why I was having such distraught digestive issues.
With my deep passion of learning why our bodies cry out for help and how to heal the digestive system with what we put into it, I became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Everyday I will continue to expand my knowledge of functional nutrition and wellness, so I can help you live your life to the fullest!
Let’s fast forward to the good part …
Today, I am thriving and living my best life. I have learned to listen to what my body needs and am back to the full of life Meg I used to be… without the list of gut red flags.
